Can I have a report with accepted estimates original value and invoiced to date?

I can help you generate the report that you need, @lmloizou.

You can run Estimates by Customer report. It will show you the name of the customer, number of the estimate, status, and an Invoice No. if it's been applied.

Here's how to run this report:

  1. Go to Reports and locate Estimates by Customer.
  2. Click the Customise button to filter the Estimate Status to Accepted.
  3. After setting all the filters, select Run Report

To know more about estimates and this report, read this article: Set up and use estimates.

To get the most of your report, here's more information on how to customise reports in QuickBooks Online.

Stay in touch if you have other concerns by leaving a comment below. I'm always glad to help in any way I can. Have a great rest of the day.

Can I have a report with accepted estimates original value and invoiced to date?

Thanks for your response. However it has not solved my issue.

I am in Management Consulting and Training and for cash flow purposes: I need a combined report with accepted estimates (how much business I have secured / I have in my plate) and the invoiced amount to date, so that I know how much cash I can expect from each estimate (i.e. client) from the date of the report on wards.

e.g.

Column 1: Accepted estimate value

Column 2: Invoiced amounts to date

etc.

Can I have a report with accepted estimates original value and invoiced to date?

Hello there, @lmloizou.

Allow me to provide insights regarding pulling up a report that contains the accepted estimate value and invoiced amount to date in QuickBooks Online.

At this time, being able to generate a report that contains information for the accepted estimate value and invoiced amount to date isn't available.

To get your work done, you can run the Estimates by Customer and Sales by Customer Detail report separately, then export it to Excel. This way, you'll be able to customize the report based on the data that you need.

You may check out this link to guide you in exporting the reports to Excel: Learn how to export your reports to Microsoft Excel from QuickBooks Online.

I'm also adding this reference that provides information about the different types of reports that are available on your QuickBooks Online subscription: Learn which reports are available for your version of QuickBooks Online.

Lastly, know that our developers are constantly considering new features to be added in the system and make the product work the way your business needs. That said, I encourage you to visit our QuickBooks Online Blog site regularly, to stay in the loop with our latest updates.

Let me know if there's anything else that I can assist you with. I'll be around to address them for you. Take care!

Can I have a report with accepted estimates original value and invoiced to date?

We are a consultancy firm and are having the same issue.  Unfortunately, the answer is always "export to Excel".  It would be nice if QB was one large database or had the ability to link it's separate databases for purposes of reporting.  All the manual work defeats the purpose of the accounting software.  Since the estimate was converted to an invoice by QB, it should have a link between the two sets of data, which should then translate into pulling a report using any of the information found in both the estimate and the invoice.

Good luck!

We are always interested in customer feedback and insight into what we might be able to improve on, JustineCUE.

While QuickBooks aims to find new ways to make sure that your product meets your needs, I'll be taking note of this. I'd also encourage you to check our QuickBooks New Features to be updated on the latest product enhancements.

To see additional customization for reports within QuickBooks Online, I recommend leaving feedback for our Product Development Team.

Your ideas and suggestions can be entered directly through your account by clicking the Gear icon in the top right corner, then select Feedback. This is the best way to ensure meaningful updates are added in the future.

In the meantime, I recommend customising the report to get the specific details you need. You can also memorise it to save its current customization settings. It serves as your record and helps you quickly access it for future use.

You can always get back to me if you have any other concerns or have follow-up questions about QuickBooks reports by adding another comment below. I want to make sure you're all set and got you covered. I'm here if you need further guidance. Have a great day! All the best.
