Can we customise journal numbers?

Can we customize journal entry numbers?  instead of the auto generated 1, 2, 3,...etc.  Would like to customise for example for January journal entry to be generated as Jan01, the next one as Jan02 and so forth.

I have not tried, give it a try click in that block and see if you can overwrite it
