How do we turn off the new Performance Center? QB wont let us open reports anymore. Plus the 10 quick charts do not help much --we are a non profit &use custom reports.

The Performance Center is a built-in feature we cannot disable, Elizabeth. Let's customize your quick charts to make the most of the data and troubleshoot those custom reports you're unable to open.

In the meantime, let's access your QuickBooks account via an incognito or private window. This mode doesn't retain cache, so we can verify if it's a webpage issue. Use these keyboard shortcuts:

• For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P
• For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N
• For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N

Once there, check if you can successfully open a custom report. If it works, I suggest clearing your default browser's cache. Otherwise, operate alternatives like other supported browsers.

Additionally, the charts are generated automatically in QuickBooks Online. However, you can build your own to make the visuals more useful to you as a non-profit organization. Bringing custom charts to the Performance Center allows you to edit, resize, and delete. I'll show you how.

1. Open the custom report and select Chart View.
2. Set the Report period and Accounting method.
3. On the Customise chart window on the right side, tailor the Chart Type and Fields according to your needs.
4. Under the More actions dropdown arrow, choose Add to Performance centre.
5. Return to the Performance centre to edit the chart by clicking the vertical ellipsis ⋮ or Customize Layout for arrangement.
