Hi,as a broker, how do i make a net commission report for our agent that shows the gross commission received from seller minus the fees, broker split, and other deductions

I've got the assistance you need in running sales commission reports in QuickBooks Online, kynethjane.

In your online company account, we can track sales from your sales representatives by using one of the two tracking features: Class and Location Tracking. You can enable the option first to allow tracking and recording of your employee's commission. To do this:

  1. Go to Settings and select Account and Settings.
  2. Click Advanced, then select the Categories section to edit.
  3. Check Track classes.
  4. Select the box next to Track Classes or Track Locations, as needed.

Once done, you can run the Sales by Class or Location Detail report or Profit and Loss by Class or Location reports to individually track their sales. Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. In the search bar, enter Sales by Class or Sales by Location.
  3. If you need to run a Profit and Loss, enter Profit and Loss by Class or Profit and Loss by Location.
  4. Select the desired report from the search results.
  5. Click on the Customise icon to add specific information to your reports.

Moreover, if you've already used the Class/Location tracking for other purposes, you may want to track the sales of your salesman for the month of commission payout. This will help you record their sales without the class or location tracking.
