I've checked our records and haven't seen any cases the same as yours, @lucky6.

To make sure that the Excel file produced the correct numbers, let's update your Excel app to the latest version. This way, you can use the latest features and to avoid compatibility issues. Let me show you how.

  1. Open Excel.
  2. Click Blank document.
  3. Click File.
  4. Select Account.
  5. Click Update Options.
  6. Select Update Now and allow the updates to install.

However, if you're using Office 365, they recommend updating your Protected View settings. This can be accomplished by following the process outlined in Microsoft's What is Protected View? article.

Also, I'd suggest contacting our Customer Support Team. They have tools such as screen-sharing that can double-check why it's happening and able to create an investigation ticket.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. Go to the Help icon on the top right.
  2. Click the Contact Us button at the bottom.
  3. Give a brief description of your issue, then select Continue.
  4. Click Start a message.

Please check out our support hours to ensure that we address your concerns on time.

In the meantime, you also have the option to export your report as a PDF file. This way you can still be able to export your report and save it in a file folder.

You can also visit our Reports and accounting page for QuickBooks Online (QBO) to learn some tips on how to manage your reports and accounting.

Please update me on how the conversation goes. I'll be around to assist you if there's anything else that you need. Take care!
