Hello, Andrew.
QuickBooks use the customer names to pull data from the Projects feature. There are a bunch of ways to help you generate a project report, depending on the data you need. I'll show you the details for each one.
Do you need to see the total income and expenses recorded under a single project? You can pull up the Project Profitability report to see the data:
If you need to include all projects or specific set of projects, simply customize the report and include them to your filters:
If you need a report to see your projects list with an overview on their data, print the Projects list on the page. Go to the Projects page, then click the print button.
However, do you need to see a detailed view on all of the transactions under your projects? You can use the Transactions List by Date report instead.
Go to the Reports page, then search for Transactions List by Date in the search box.
You can set the Group by sort options to Customers, then customize your filters to include a set or all projects (do the same steps above).
I'll add these articles in case you need more help managing your projects:
If you need to categorize your bank transactions with the records in QuickBooks Online, this article will guide you through the process: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
You can count on me again if you have more questions about your projects or any other features in QuickBooks. Just let me know what you need to do and I'll get back to this thread.
