I set the Repeats (Set Recurrence) to Weekly(Sunday to Saturday), and then on Saturday will be the Email Schedule But upon checking, the report period is on the next week

Hi there, @nina-tz-topskywe.

I'm here to fill you in with some information about setting scheduled emails for reports in QuickBooks Online.

When the recurrence is set to weekly, the reporting period should also be set to weekly, beginning on Sunday and ending on the sixth day.

I'd suggest setting the custom report date to the same week in order to get the report you need.

You can also use this article for the detailed instruction for setting schedules and email information.

In addition, we can create unique reports that highlight particular information to gain extra knowledge. Have this article for your guide: Common custom reports in QuickBooks Online.

You are welcome to reply to this thread again if you need more guidance about running reports in QuickBooks. I'll willing to support your growing business.

Hi @ChristineJoieR! Thank you for your message.
Can you tell me more? Here's my scenario..
I set the Repeats WEEKLY and on SATURDAY will be the Email Schedule.
Apparently, Quickbooks will email me the report on SUNDAY attached is the report on the next week period.

Here's a sample..
msg1951296805-7512.jpg
Received the report on 09/11/2022

And the Report period is September 11- 17, 2022 (Sunday to Saturday) which is next week.

Maybe, the settings I am creating is incorrect.
I really appreciate your response.

Thank You,
Nina

Thanks for getting back on this thread, @nina-tz-topskywe

I appreciate you adding some screenshots to your post. I'm here to clarify a few things about how the schedule and email information for a memorised report works in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Based on your screenshots above, I believe you've also selected This Week or This-Week-to-date for your Report period. Moreover, since the report was received last Sunday, September 11, 2022, then it's already part of the week with a date range of September 11-17, 2022.

Nonetheless, may I know if you received the report exactly on 09/11/2022? If so, it's unusual behavior since you've scheduled the report to be sent every Saturday, which is on 09/10/2022. That said, I suggest contacting our Technical Support Team. This way, they'll be able to do further investigation into this concern. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the ? Help button at the top right corner.
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Enter a brief discussion with your concern, then click Continue.
  5. Choose how you want to contact our support and fill in the information.

In addition to this, you can focus on the details that matter the most to you when you pull up reports in QBO. If you wish to know more about this process, I'd recommend checking out this article: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online.

Don't hesitate to come back to this thread if you have other QuickBooks-related concerns. I'll be more than happy to help. Have a great day ahead!
