Browser-related problems are the most common reason that users encounter issues when generating reports in QuickBooks. Please know that the online platform uses the browser’s cache to run faster. However, these can sometimes become corrupted, which affects QuickBooks Online functionalities.
You can perform some troubleshooting steps to continue running the Trial Balance and Journal reports. First, open your QuickBooks Online account in a private or incognito window for testing. You can use these shortcut keys below for quick navigation:
Once logged in, try to run the said reports. If you can do it successfully, get back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Doing this helps the program to run smoothly. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative.
