Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to get your Profit and Loss report to display the correct data, usersitiumairahidris.

Let's try checking the Transaction Journal of your invoices to verify on what service item or account applied to the transaction. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to Sales on the left side menu.
  2. Choose Invoices
  3. Open an invoice.
  4. Click More at the bottom of the Invoice window.
  5. Select Transaction journal.

If it is correct, let's try signing in to QuickBooks Online (QBO) using a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues. Here's how:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Option + P

Then, try running the Profit and Lossy by Customer report. If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. Web-based platforms like QBO collect cache files (cookies) to save you time, but this can impact processes and cause them to not work. You can also use other use a supported, up-to-date browser to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.

Feel free to visit our Report page for more insights about managing your reports in QBO.

I'd like to know how you get on after trying the steps, as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Just reply to this post and I'll get back to you. Take care always.
