Make sure to run the Trial Balance report on Accrual accounting method, not Cash basis. You can check this on the top of the report header. See attached screenshot below for reference.
If you're already running the report on Accrual method and still does not show the invoice on the sales account then you will need to review the Invoice journal. Open the invoice form you created on January 09, 2018 and click MORE at the bottom of the Invoice form and select Transaction Journal. This report will give you where the income (or credit side) posted in QBO.
