I am trying to put an Irish VAT number in to the system. It is getting rejected due to format even though we know it is correct. We are not registered for intra EU VAT.

We can not get intra EU VAT as we haven't demonstrated intra EU trading yet however it is important to add VAT number to Quickbooks. Is it expecting an intra EU VAT number, could that be the issue?

Since you're unable to enter your VAT number, contact our support team. They can investigate the issue with a screen-sharing session and confirm whether it's related to intra-EU VAT registration.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Select the Search tab and click on any articles.
  3. Choose the Contact Us button.
  4. Click the Ask about something else tab.
  5. Key in your concern and hit Continue
  6. Choose a way to connect with us:
  • Have us call you - Get a call from a support expert.
  • Chat with us - Start a conversation with a support expert.
