One of our clients is receiving automatic payment reminders every minute. We need to stop this.

Currently, there's no option available to stop automatic payment reminders for just one client, @muntadhar1030. However, you can go to the Account and settings to disable payment reminders.

Please note that turning off automatic reminders removes them from all invoices. Also, automatic email reminders only apply to new invoices.

To turn on or off payment reminders in QuickBooks, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and settings.
  3. Under the Sales section, click on Reminders.

Additionally, check out this content to guide you with recording payments: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

We already disabled the auto reminders but that didn't work. We also deleted the client email from the customer details and that didn't work either. I think this is a glitch in the QBO server. These reminder emails are sent almost every minute for the last 48 hours, causing significant email traffic and emails are now reaching over 1000 emails in the address, causing serious issues.

I'll connect you with our Live Support Team to take a closer look at your account in a secure setting, muntadhar1030. Since the problem continues even after turning off the auto reminder feature, and it's still generating a substantial number of emails, which have now exceeded 1000.

To contact them, here's how:

  1. Click the (?) Help button in the top-right corner of your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Choose the Assistant tab to get help from the QB assistant.
  3. Type in Talk to an expert to get options for expert help.
  4. Select your preferred method to reach out to them. Be sure to check their support hours to know when they're available.
