Hi I tried following the instructions but I cant find the "other miscellaneous expense" in the detail type drop down, should I just select "other expenses" in the options? Thank You.

Yes, you can use the Other Expenses account. However, it's best to seek some help from your account so they can better guide you on setting it up.

It's not a fantastic solution. It would be better if WHT could be calculated using a percentage on a subtotal of other service fees, rather than having to calculate it yourself.
I did something similar to what you describe above, but used the discount line, which does have a % calculation option. I then mapped the discount to a newly created WHT account code.
This however means that I cant use discounts for anything else!
