Thanks for the instructions but unfortunately wasn't successful.
I also called the bank, updated my password and then attempted to update the bank information as suggested but the connection failed displaying the error message "Something unexpected happened and we couldn't connect to your bank".
Any other suggestions?

Hi All,
Has there been a fix for this issue? It seems to be steaming from the recent security update Bengio Bank rolled out.
Hi DavidMorgan,
Thanks for joining the thread. Do you have any error message in QuickBooks Banking tab? If editing sign-in info and doing a manual refresh is still not working on your end, I would recommend to contact our Customer Support Team. Doing so, we'll be able to further check and investigate on your Bendigo bank connection.
Let me know if you have any other questions, I'll be around to help.
Hi,
Unfortunately I do not have any photos or screenshots.
When I first noticed the problem was occurring was when I logged in and noticed there was a red error flag on the homepage of Quickbooks where it has the linked accounts. I clicked through this to re-link the account however, when I tried to do this it still did not connect even though I was using the correct login details.
I called the Bank and they confirmed that quickbooks and other accounting platforms are not currently supported due to a new 2 step verification process when logging into ebanking.
I am hoping you are able to provide an alternative or an update on when this fix will implemented?
Hi DavidMorgan,
Thanks for getting back to us. There's an ongoing Product Investigation for Bendigo Bank unable to connect or download transactions. Engineers has been made aware of this and is currently doing their investigation.
I would recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, they can add your company file to the list of affected users and for you to get updates as soon as a fix is deployed. You can provide this investigation number INV-91216 Unable to connect or download transactions with Bendigo (standard feed connection), getting error 176. At the moment we're unable to provide an estimated turn around time for a fix. Rest assured our engineers are working on a fix with your bank to rectify the connection as soon as possible.
As a work around we recommend connecting your Bendigo bank account through Direct feeds connection.
Or manually upload your transactions using a CSV file upload: Manually upload your transactions, receipts, and bills into QuickBooks Online.
Post again in the Community if you have further concerns. I'm around to help you.
This still appears to be an issues, aside from manually importing transactions, is there any work around. I do most of my accounts work outside of working hours, so not sure if I will be able to get phone support easily.
I understand how frustrating it can be when you encounter issues with your banking transactions not refreshing in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @kit_kat68. I'll share some additional workaround to ensure you have a smooth and efficient accounting process.
Before doing so, can you tell me if you encounter any error codes/messages when updating your bank? Knowing this will help me provide you with the right information.
In the meantime, log into your QBO account using an incognito window. Doing so will help us determine if this is a browser-related issue. You can also use other supported browsers.
Another workaround is to connect your Bendigo bank account through Direct feeds.
Moreover, I recommend signing into your bank’s website to check if there's an issue on their end. You can review your account for notifications, alerts, and any announcements about new security requirements. If everything looks good, it's best to contact our QuickBooks Support team for further investigation.
Keep me posted by leaving a comment below if you need further assistance or have any additional banking questions.
I have the same problem and I can't even connect to the bank initially so links like this do not help because it assumes you can actually start off with a link.
