Hi jindabyneglass,
Thanks for posting in the Community! For direct feed connection, transactions are downloaded in QuickBooks Online after a transaction has been processed by the bank, they are sent to QuickBooks the following weeknight. On the other hand, for standard feed connection, transactions are downloaded in QuickBooks on a daily basis.
If downloads seem stuck, we can refresh your feed to download new transactions. Here's how:
Also, if you've recently updated your bank's login credentials, you'll need to update that info in QuickBooks Online. To do that:
For more detailed information, feel free to check this article: Troubleshoot unknown bank errors. In any case there's still a delay on your bank feed downloads, kindly contact our Customer Support Team to further investigate on this.
Feel free to post again if you have any other questions, we're here to help you. Have a great day!
So I've pressed refresh and there are 10 transactions that are on my bank site and aren't downloaded onto quickbooks. Generally a day or two behind.
Welcome to the Community! I appreciate you for joining the thread, jinda.
I recognize that having sync issues affects your business operations using QuickBooks, jinda. I'd like to know the name of your bank. This will enable us to verify if an investigation into this concern is ongoing. I also advise getting in touch with your bank to find out if there is system maintenance taking place, which possibly affects how quickly your transactions are transferred into QuickBooks.
Moreover, sync issues typically occur when your financial institution is performing system maintenance or an update that requires your attention and participation. When downloading transactions, keep in mind that QuickBooks Online (QBO) will rely on the data supplied by your bank. Thus, it will depend on when the bank will provide transactions to QuickBooks.
You may, however, manually upload the ten transactions into QuickBooks as a workaround. Please refer to this article: Manually upload your transactions.
I've also included the following articles that contain some troubleshooting steps for banking issues:

Hi jindabyneglass,
Thanks for getting back to us. As mentioned by my colleague above, when downloading transactions, please know that QuickBooks Online will rely on the data supplied by your bank. Thus, it will depend on when the bank will provide transactions to QuickBooks. Let's update your bank info in QuickBooks:
If you have done all the troubleshooting steps above and the bank feeds still not downloading in QuickBooks. I would recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, they can check your account connection and escalate it to our banking team.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I'm always willing to assist.
I am going to ask the bank when they provide the data and if it is delayed for some reason.
Is there a technical name for the data supplied to quickbooks.
Hi jindabyneglass,
There's no technical name for the data or bank feed supplied to QuickBooks. I think it is best to contact our Customer Care Team for this and not your bank. That way, they can further check the account connection with our banking engineers.
