Creating a Tax Invoice.

I am trying to create a new Invoice that says "Tax Invoice" instead of just invoice - how do I do this?

Creating a Tax Invoice.

Hi JayNine,

Thank you for reaching out on this.

You can change the Sales form name from "Invoice" to "Tax Invoice". Here is an article from our online community for your reference in doing so:

Please let us know if you have any follow up questions. Thank you..

Hi Zac,

Thanks for your response but the article doesn't seem to reference the Quick Books Self-Employed screens.

You’re right, JayNine. It’s for the online version.

I think Intuit Zac thought that you’re using the QuickBooks Online. In QuickBooks Self-Employed, we’re unable to change the invoice name since the template isn’t customisable.

If you have other questions, just let me know.

Is this something that can be changed as I am needing to change my invoices to "Tax Invoice" also. Considering this is a requirement, your app should be updated asap!

Hi CSkalecki,

Thank you for the feedback. As mentioned by JessT, QuickBooks Self Employed invoices currently state Invoice, instead of Tax Invoice, and this cannot be changed.

We'll pass this on to the Product Team for consideration in future versions of QuickBooks Self Employed.
