It's nice to have you back. @Ancient67.
I've got you covered in getting this BAS lodging issue sorted out for you.
When lodging a Business Activity Statement (BAS) in QuickBooks Online, you'll need to make sure that the lodging frequency will be the same as your taxes'lodging frequency.
Based on the screenshot given, I notice that your PAYG frequency is different. I'd suggest changing it to the appropriate frequency provided by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
To give you in-depth details about this process, please check out these resources:

Hello there, @Ancient67.
I'm glad that the steps shared by my colleague are able to help you with lodging your BAS. Let me help you with connecting QuickBooks Online with the ATO.
You'll need to enable BAS e-lodgement to lodge BAS directly from QuickBooks and download installment amounts. This can be done by calling the ATO, or through the ATO Access Manager.
Please take note that you'll need the tax file number and software ID to get authorised via phone while you'll need the AUSkey or myGOV Account for ATO Access Manager.
You can check the following article for the detailed steps as well as some FAQs to know more about Connecting QuickBooks Online with the ATO: Enable BAS E-lodgement for QuickBooks.
Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions. I'll be around to assist you.
