From 13 January 2025, Swag will be renamed and rebranded as Employment Hero Work. This includes the app, website, brochures, sales materials and emails.
While QuickBooks Payroll customers will soon start to see the refreshed branding across the platform, there will be no other changes to the functionality or product. Everything our customers know and love about QuickBooks Payroll will remain the same.
On 3 April 2023, all KeyPay brand assets were updated to reflect new Employment Hero branding.
The official rebrand will take place on Monday 13 January 2025/ We appreciate your help in keeping these changes under wraps until then.

From 3 April 2023, the KeyPay brand across QuickBooks Payroll will be updated to reflect new Employment Hero branding.
While you will soon start to see the refreshed branding across the platform, there will be no other changes to the functionality or product. Everything you know and love about QuickBooks Payroll will remain the same!

You don’t need to lift a finger. The platform, web-pages and other references to KeyPay will be replaced automatically with Employment Hero from 3 April 2023. We have also prepared some updated QuickBooks Payroll brochureware for you to use with your clients as needed.Â
Despite recent communications sent to Employment Hero customers regarding new app changes to Employment Hero Work, there is currently no impact to Payroll QuickBooks customers and the current QB Employment Hero Work app experience.Â
No. If you already have STP 2 enabled with QuickBooks Payroll there is nothing you need to do. The name of the Software provider registered with the ATO will be updated automatically from “KeyPay” to “Employment Hero Payroll” by Monday 6 March 2023. Despite the name change, the software ID will remain the same - maintaining your STP connection.
We work closely with Employment Hero on evolving the Payroll product to solve the most important problems facing our customers. We don’t comment on the strategy of Employment Hero.
