I appreciate you for adding your first post, @sinead-kelly-wel. I have some details about accepting credit card payments in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'm glad to share them with you.
At this time, PayPal is the only merchant option for payments in QBO AU wherein you can send invoices that customers can pay anywhere, anytime, on any device. You may sync the Square app with QuickBooks. However, the Pay Now button won't be available for your invoices. It'll just import your sales transactions as invoices and payments automatically.
You can get more tips about these payment solutions from these links:
I'm also adding this article for more guides while handling your sales and other customer entries in the future: Topics about your company's income and customers.
Please let me know in the comment section below if you have other questions about online payments. I'm always here to help. Keep safe!
If you are running a service company, you can utilize a proposal management app to integrate with QBO and accept payments by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover (Domestic), JCB, UnionPay, and Direct Debit.
Do you have the app name so I can take a look?
