You will still invoice the customers using the timesheet, Goldylox3076.

I'll walk you how:

  1. Open the WorkZone app.
  2. At the bottom, choose the Timesheet menu.
  3. Click the Plus sign (+) icon.
  4. Enter the necessary information.
  5. Apply the timesheet to one day or several days.
  6. Click Save.

For the complete video tutorial on how to use WorkZone, visit our website: QuickBooks Online - Video tutorials. Then, look for Payroll - employee WorkZone app

Hi Kristine,

Thanks for that.  However, my employees work on several different jobs for different customers.  When they enter their timesheet into workzone, how do they select which customer they are working for?  The customers are all in QBO but you don't seem to be able to access this list from workzone.

Cheers Julie

Hello there, Julie.

QuickBooks Online syncs with thousands of third-party apps. Each app, like WorkZone, has a different way of integrating to our system.

In your case, I'd suggest reaching out to the app's support to verify how you can access the customer list from QuickBooks Online. This way, you'll learn how to choose the customer your employee is working for.
