Invoice Sync overrides Invoice issue and due dates

We sync (import) invoices from our CRM into QBO.  Despite the xml of the sync sending invoice issue date and invoice due date, we have been told that QBO overrides both of those and sets the invoice dates imported as the date of the import.
Why is this and how do we stop it from happening?

Invoice Sync overrides Invoice issue and due dates

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community, alect.

Just like transactions from any other apps or banks, QuickBooks will not modify or override the transaction dates. There must be a setting in your CRM software that needs to be adjusted. Did you create that CRM or it's developed by other companies?

If you developed the software, please repost this question to the Intuit Developers Community. They are the ones who can help you regarding the transfer of data. Here, we can only category to questions from end-product users, not something related to the API or any transfer of data from an app you developed. If you bought the CRM from other companies, please reach out to their providers.

  1. Follow this link: https://help.developer.intuit.com/s/.
  2. Choose the QuickBooks Online tile.
  3. Click the Ask a Question button.

You can run an Invoice List report if you want to check all of the invoices you've imported. Just go to Reports and search for Invoice list in the Who owes you section.

Let me know if you have other questions in mind. Take care and have a good one!
