At the moment, setting up a different price for a specific product is not possible in QuickBooks Online Australia. You may consider adding the same product with different price on it or having a third-party app to manage multiple price lists.
Here at Intuit, we continue to make improvements in the product by taking our customer's suggestions into consideration. For now, I encourage you to send your product suggestion by going to Gear icon and select Feedback on your QuickBooks Online file.

Eg Barry gets 30% discount on all items

While there are lots of third-party applications available that you can integrate with QuickBooks Online (QBO), I am unable to recommend any. As much as I wanted to route you to a specific application that can create price levels for the Australian online version of QuickBooks, however, we treat every business here fairly and what works for you might not work for others.

I had spent some time last evening before your response investigating the third part apps only to find they are very expensive (2 months would see me pay more than my annual subscription to Quickbooks, for a single (simple) feature that is already available for users in the US. Not an investment I'm willing to make and am now likely not to use to Quickbooks despite already paying a year in advance for membership).
Do you know if this feature is available to me in other Quickbook products in Australia? I currently subscribe to the Quickbooks Online Pro version?
Where do I leave feedback for Quickbooks regarding my challenges?
Disappointing when the program in every other sense seems superior to the product I currently use...
