We have set up a default message on our sales templates.
Is there anyway we can prevent users from entering / removing this message when entering invoices especially as they contain banking details which we do not wish to display in the footer.!
Thank you.

Good day, Deano2.
Once you've set up a user to create sales transactions, we're unable to prevent them from entering/removing the invoice default message.
I know this is important to your business. I'll personally share your concern to our management team. They'll help me pass this along to our software developers for evaluation. This might be included in future updates.
Don't hesitate to get back to us if you need anything else.

Hi Deano2,
I've tried some testing on my test company to see if there was a way to make amendments to the form as a restricted user, and was able to come up with these results.
If the user is set up as a Standard User with the Customers tickbox only in the Limited access section, they will be able to view the invoice template but not save any changes that they make, which effectively stops them from overwriting your invoice design settings.
Here is a visual representation of what it looks like in the Edit section of the user:
And this error message will show up when the restricted user tries to save their changes in the invoice style settings:
Let me know if this is what you're looking for.

Thank you for all testing. I have also tried testing and I can see they cannot change the template which is fantastic however they still have the ability to enter a different message when creating a sales invoices? .
Or am I perhaps doing something wrong when testing . THanks again for all the support and help. much appreciated
Yes, you are correct, Deano2.
The other user will still be able to enter a different message on the invoices. I'll be sure to forward your request to our product engineers for assessment.

Hi Axion Sec,
If you are editing an invoice template, you can either go to the Design tab and select Add your EFT Details, or you can go to the Content tab, click on the bottom section of the invoice and enter it into the "Footer" section. If you are using the Airy New template, there is a separate section for your payment information, but you can still choose to use the Footer instead.
