That is an unusual issue, so it sounds like the dates are not changing from 'Due on Receipt', regardless of which terms you select.
Perhaps it would be best to directly troubleshoot this issue with our team:
- Log into QuickBooks Online
- Select Help
- Select Contact Us
- Type in your inquiry, and select Let's Talk
