Hi gordondembrey,

 

Hope you are well.  Can I please confirm that you have selected the GST button from the left hand side?  This is where we can locate the software ID code and connect to ATO button (depending on your QuickBooks Online subscription.) 

 

I also wanted to advise that you have to be an admin, non-accountant user to enable BAS electronic lodgement in QuickBooks.

 

Please let us know and we can look into this further for you.

Yes I am the primary admin person.  Clicking on Gst on the left hand side and going to the next page does not show an ATO button.

There can be a possible web-page issue. To check if this is the case, you can sign in again using a private browser

 

Here's how to open a private browser depending on your browser: 

 

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P for Internet Explorer or Firefox
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N for Chrome.
  • Hold down Command + Shift + N for Safari. 

 

If you're able to see the Connect to the ATO button on the GST page, I'd suggest you go back to your regular browser and clear your cache. You can refer to this article that will walk you through the steps depending on which one you're using: Clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files.

 

However, if you still can't see the connect button, it'd be best to reach out to our Online Support for assistance. This way, they can access your account in a secure environment and isolate the issue further.
