Why would the banking page be greyed out - not accessible by any link?

Welcome to the Community space, @peter-tacey.

I have some info that can help isolate this odd behavior in QuickBooks. Errors such as missing/greyed out tabs, blank screen, or loading page are usually caused by stored cache on your browser.

You can certainly fix this by performing the steps below.

Step 1: Use a private browser.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N.

Step 2: Sign in to QuickBooks and go to the Banking page using the private window.

Step 3: If the prompt is gone, go back to your regular browser and clear your cache.

If you're using the Desktop App, you can click the Help menu at the top of the screen and select the Reset App Data option on the drop-down selection.

However, if the issue persists on your browser, please try using another supported and up-to-date browser. Otherwise, you can reach out to our QBO Support so they can investigate this further using their tools.

Should you need anything else, do let me know. I'll be on standby if you need further help. Have a nice day.
