I'm not sure what new "fixes" have been implemented but just to add on an update to my previous post
19 Sep 2022 - Some transactions up to 05 Sep was automatically updated. But I'm missing 5 other transactions that were supposed to be on 05 Sep as well. Transactions from 06 Sep to date is not being downloaded.
20 Sep 2022 - I'm back to square negative one now. After clicking on "Update", the page is loading but I'm not getting prompt to proceed to key in my OTP. It's been "loading" for the past 30 mins.
So all in all, whatever "fix" that has been implemented is NOT WORKING and it is WORSE. So please stop harping that everything is or should be working now because it is not. The very fact that we're still posting here should be a telltale sign that the issue is still there and more.

Mine is not working at all...clear cache, private browser mode and all.
@Rose-A I just tried and no Sep-22 transactions were retrieved. I even deleted the OCBC bank account and re-established connection and still the same. EITHER NOTHING IS FIXED or MY ISSUE IS UNIQUE.
Let's hear what the others say..
I managed to retrieve Sep 2022 transactions today.. However, I am just not sure whether it's because we are in Oct 22 and thus, able to retrieve last month's transactions. That means current month transactions will not be retrieved.
I shall try again in the next few days and validate my suspicion.
I'm not able to retrieve Oct 2022 transactions so it seems that we can only retrieve previous month's transaction.
This OCBC problem is not completely fixed and there's been no update for a long while... This is not the service level QBO customers paid for..
Hello there, @SGSCC. I've got an update on your query about not being able to retrieve transactions from a specific period in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
As I've checked here on my end, there's an ongoing investigation about OCBC bank transactions missing and being unable to retrieve them. Our engineers are aware of it and are currently working on a fix. I'd recommend reaching out to QuickBooks Customer Care Team. This way, they can add you to the list of affected users. Also, you'll receive an update from our Product Development once a fix is available. To begin, here's how:
See this article for more information: How and when can I contact Support? In addition, you can visit this article about categorising and matching transactions in QBO: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
You can also check this page about how to reconcile an account in QBO: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
Once done, I appreciate the time and effort you've put into this, @SGSCC. If there's anything else that you'd like me to help you with, don't hesitate to get back to me. Take care, and have a good one.
Hi, I've managed to download transactions but only up to 04 Oct as of 13 Oct 2022.
Would like to check if anyone have missing transactions in the downloaded transactions? I just manually check against my e-statement for Sep-2022 as I couldn't reconcile the bank balances and found that I have missing transactions for the following dates:
08 Sep - partial transactions (2) missing
09 Sep - 1 transaction missing
05 Oct - partial transactions (2) missing
Hello, April F.
I have a couple of solutions to help you bring in those missing transactions from your bank account.
We can manually download those missing transactions to force those records in QuickBooks. Here's how to do it:
I recommend doing this at least three to five times to ensure all records would go through.
If you still don't have the missing transactions, we can manually upload them into QuickBooks through an Excel file. Log in to your bank account, then get the transactions into an Excel file.
For a guide on how to do this, we can check out this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
I'll add this article in case you need a guide on what to do when there are missing transactions on the bank feed: What to do if you can’t find downloaded transactions in QuickBooks Online.
After categorizing those missing records, we can start the reconciliation process. Should there be any reconciliation issues in the near future, I'll add this article for a guide on how to fix them: Fix issues at the end of a reconciliation in QuickBooks Online.
You're more than welcome to drop by in this thread (you can also create another) if you have questions about your bank transactions. Need a bit of help with your entries or reports? Let me know the details and I'll gladly help you out.
Hi guys, in case you're still using QBO (I'm in the process of switching to another provider since the issues are still prevalent and there is no signs of improvement), you may need to check against your bank statement line by line.
Do not take it for granted that all the transactions have been automatically downloaded (especially at the start of the new mth when transactions are suddenly able to be automatically updated). I'm still trying to reconcile the balances and transactions for Oct which is freaking frustrating with all the double work.
Looking forward to the final migration over to the other provider where i can finally be freed from this menace of QBO.
Am also considering moving...what's the pain index like (1-10, 10 being very painful)?
I'm so

done with the banking issues of QBO.
+1
I'm considering switching too.
This QBO issue has caused much pain for the past 6 months.
We consider switching to another platform too.. The issue is only partially solved; although I can retrieve transactions from OCBC, it is only for last month's transactions.. It's ridiculous to take so long and still give customer a half-baked solution.
My pain level is reduced as I engaged a vendor to assist with the migration, but i would say it is still a 6.
If you have yet to tap on any PSG grants for accounting software, it would be a good time to do so as it minimize the pain and costs for switching over with the help of a vendor. Best if you can coincide the migration with your financial year end so that at the very least all the records required for the financial year reporting will be over in the new platform (although the vendor said that anytime is fine but in hindsight it would have been more ideal to wait). There will be an overlap of 1-2 mths where you may have to key in items on both platform (in order to minimize disruptions during the setting up and ensure that all is running well) and balances are reconciled correctly.
All in all, I'm quite sad to be leaving QBO having used the platform since the start of my business but after month and months of inaction on QB part to resolve the banking problems with OCBC and having no updates (seems like this will be the norm now), I'm looking forward to ending this pain once and for all
Thank you so much for that PSG idea. MY FY just ended in Sep...so it's the right time.
I'll talk to my accountant now. I'm disappointed that we all have to explore such a direction for a product that has served us well in the past but is no longer meeting our needs.
