Hi Maria,
Thank you for your reply. The only UOB options are BIBPlus (replaced by Infinity DEC 2020) or personal banking. UOB now has Infinity which is not listed as a Connect Account. UOB Infinity is one of the main bank services for Commercial Banking.
Regards,
Aroon
I am facing the same issue. UOB BiBPlus was replaced by UOB Infinity in Dec 2020. It is surprising that Quickbooks is still showing the old link.
I'll help you get around this issue and connect your UOB Infinity bank, Swee Kheng.
QuickBooks Online (QBO) depends on the information provided by your bank. Thus, the system still shows the old link. Rest assured, our Engineering team is working with your bank to have this update roll out in the future.
Additionally, you can also send a request to have the UOB Infinity supported in QBO. I'd be glad to show you how.
You can also proceed to Step 3 in this article for more details: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.
In the meantime, you'll want to manually upload your bank transactions to QBO. Once done, please refer to this link on how to add your entries on the correct account: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
You can count on me whenever you need assistance managing your bank and transactions. I'll be more than happy to work with you again. Have a good one and keep safe.
I have already sent in the request to add UOB Infinity. It is however slow moving. Could you expedite the process to avoid inconvenience to QBO users? The UOB link was changed from Dec 2020 and till now, users are still facing this issue.
Your feedback will help us improve our services and experience, @Swee Kheng.
I appreciate you for sending a request to our banking team. As soon as the UOB Infinity link is available in QuickBooks Online, I will certainly be back in the thread and give you an update. Thus, you can bind the bank and categorise the transaction right away. You may use the steps described by MariaSoledadG to connect the bank.
Alternatively, you may access the Bank page and paste the updated URL from time to time. This way, you can connect with the bank quickly. See the sample screenshot below for your reference.
Meanwhile, I recommend downloading the transaction manually into QuickBooks. You can click the articles provided by JasroV above. Upon completion, you can now categorise and reconcile your account as soon as you're ready. If you see an error message, here's how to correct errors when uploading your transactions.
Finally, please feel free to refer to these articles below about handling banking transactions, various accounts, and other related matters.
Let me know in the comments section if you need any extra help with your account. I'm here to help. Keep safe.
Do note that the illustration that you have shown is incorrect.
The official URL to UOB Infinity is https://infinity.uobgroup.com and not www.UOB.com.sg (which is for personal account).

THIS HAS TAKEN TOO LONG!
Hi. Thank you for following up on this thread. We need a stronger voice here! It has been months since we started experiencing this problem. I check every few weeks and still no progress. We need more UOB Infinity business users to step up and request for this to be solved. Keep on posting. Regards, Aroon.
Hi,
Any update on this?
Still can not see UOB INfinity as an option and it's so frustrating. It has been months, can you resolve this ASAP or else I am taking my business somewhere else.
I know it has been months since we posted the original thread and still no resolution from Quickbooks. It seems that Quickbooks Users who are UOB Business Bank users are unimportant to their business. We are also looking at other options as well. If they plan not to solve it, then at least tell us so that we can make the necessary business decision.

Hi there, @aroontan.
Allow me to share with you some information about connecting your UOB Infinity account.
We currently don't receive any updates about connecting the UOB Infinity account into QuickBooks Online. We're unable to provide a timeframe on when this will be available.
As soon as the UOB Infinity is available in QuickBooks Online, I will certainly be back in the thread and give you an update.
For now, you can manually upload older transactions from a CSV file to bring in your data in QuickBooks.
I've included an article that will guide you in handling your bank transactions: Assign, categorize, edit, and add your downloaded banking transactions.
Thank you for your time and if you need anything else, don't hesitate to post here. Have a great day!
Why is it taking MONTHS AND MONTHS to connect one of the major business bank accounts in Singapore? Why are we paying for Quickbooks? I'm a new customer and if I had know I might have made a different decision... Absolutely ridiculous.
Hello, thank you for your timely response.
The request to change from sg.bibplus.uobgroup. c o m to infinity.uobgroup. c o m was made by me on several occasions already, and the issue has caused many wasted working hours.
The workaround of downloading .csv statements, and converting to Quickbooks format is rather cumbersome, especially for those that maintain several accounts at the bank.
Moreover, the manual manipulation means that all entries now need to be verified by hand by a second person and included into the internal audit cycle to identify possible discrepancies and to ensure validity and legitimacy of the transactions entered into the accounting system.
QB's attention at your earliest opportunity to this matter is appreciated.
Not the efficiency we expected when subscribing to QuickBooks.
*** Is this issue not as simple as changing the uobgroup.com URL ?
*** the login protocol is still the same, isn't it ?
This doesn't work... QB and UOB need to work together to make this work. It's taking months and month. absolutely ridiculous

Hello @JoesemM
Further to my earlier observations and screenshot shared, this seems to be an issue that occurs on several operating systems, and originated when the bank changed the URL of its business banking app.
To me, it seems the log-in sequence is the same as with the old App, so I truly do not understand the issue, other than a change of URL in the QB database.
Surely, it would be more effective to address the source of the problem than to stimulate customers to call the help-line ?
Thank you for your consideration.

Hi @TirzahC
This is rather disappointing as UOB is one of the big local banks in Singapore and widely used by Singapore companies. We recently subscribed for QBO Accountants with the understanding that it is connected to a wide number of banks as we am onboarding a suite of clients. Getting the clients to download the CSV files etc, isn't going to sit well with the clients after we have taken time and effort to convince clients on the benefits of moving online with QBO instead of similar online accounting platforms.
In addition, you may wish to update your chat support because I spent a couple of hours last week and yesterday trouble shooting with the tech support on Error 163 and even informed them it was UOB bank and was told to delete cookies/history etc. I was the one who finally figured out that perhaps while the UOB BIB Plus connect was the closest match in the QBO banking portal may not be compatible with UOB Infinity.
Would appreciate if you could escalate this to your management to expedite. FYI, in Sept 2020 (https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/banking-finance/uob-launches-digital-banking-platform-uob-infinity-...). UOB also announced to all it's customers that it would be migrating the clients from UOB BIB Plus to UOB Infinity by Jan 2021.
Thank you.
Hello Mr. Tirzah,
In view of the non-reasonable delay making internet banking for business with UOB Group available again for your subscribers, and furthermore taking into consideration the additional cost we are incurring due to this lack of service, after consultation with my corporate secretarial office in Singapore, that offers a working solution at a competitive price, it was decided that it is best to end the subscription with your fine company.
Kindly advice which steps to take to effect the Owners decision.
With best regards,
BV
