Hi. Ho w do i set up chart of accounts n enter their balances?

I'm here to lend a hand in setting up your Chart of Accounts. 


Here's what you'll need to do:

  1. In the left menu. click Accounting.
  2. Go to the Chart of Accounts tab.
  3. Hit the New button at the upper right hand.
  4. In the Account Type ▼ drop-down menu choose an account type.
  5. In the Detail Type ▼ dropdown, select the detail type best fits types of transactions you want to track.
  6. Give your new account a name. You can use the info under the detail type to add a name that fits.
  7. Add a description.
  8. Select when you want to start tracking your finances. In the Balance field, enter the amount in the account, and determine the as of date. Enter today's date if you want to start tracking immediately.
  9. Pick Save and close.
