My business bank account does not want to pull through to Quickbooks. States FNB under maintenance until 15 November.

Hello there, @cvandermerwe. It's our pleasure to assist you with your bank concerns in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

We can understand the inconvenience that has caused you with the ongoing maintenance of your state's First National Bank (FNB). However, we have no control over it. We recommend checking your bank's website for any updates.

For now, you can request CSV files from FNB and upload your transactions manually in QBO so you can still get back to business.

  1. Go to Transactions, then click Bank Transactions.
  2. Select the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  3. Choose the Link account dropdown and then Upload from the file.
  4. Click Drag and Drop or select Files and then select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then click Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then pick Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then choose Continue.
  7. Select the transactions you would like to import. Then select Continue.
  8. Hit Yes. Then, Done to accept your transactions.

Please refer to this article for more details: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Once the maintenance is done, you can reconnect your bank account. Then, don't forget to review your transactions if there are duplicates. Although, you can always match or exclude the duplicates. See this article for guidance: Categorise and Match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, you can visit these articles for future reference in reconciling accounts in QuickBooks to ensure everything matches and you know your accounts are balanced and accurate:

Please post again if you have bank concerns or any QuickBooks-related issues. We'll be around to help you, cvandermerwe. Take care always!
