Does anyone else have issues connecting QB with ABSA?
I am getting error 106, cant find bank account. It is certainly still there and active.
Hi @Craigsat,
This error usually happens when the account is closed. The error 106 means QuickBooks is unable to locate your account from your bank.
If you closed your bank account, you can choose the Need to disconnect? Here’s how option. On the Downloaded Transaction page, follow the steps to disconnect a bank or a credit card account.
If you didn’t close your bank account, reach our customer support team to check your account securely.

Thanks for the reply.
The account is still active.
I have contacted QB numerous times via contact us option and have yet to receive a reply.
Let’s try some workarounds to verify if this is a browser-related issue, @Craigsat.
As of now, there is no similar reported issue. I recommend using a private browser to see if you can find your bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Here's how:
• Press Ctrl + Shift + N keys on your keyboard (Google Chrome)
• Press Ctrl + Shift + P keys on your keyboard (Firefox or Internet Explorer)
• Press Control + Option + P keys on your keyboard (Safari)
If you can locate your bank account to QBO after doing the steps above, go back to your regular browser and clear your cache.
In case if you’re still not able to locate your bank account, try to edit your sign- in information. If still not able to do so, it's highly recommended to call your financial institution to verify and have documentation to be submitted to QBO through contacting support team.
Also, I provided articles for you regarding bank error 106.

Thank you for the below.
I tried as you suggested and got the same results unfortunately.
It appears QB is not contactable. I have tried with no response.
I think come the new year i will need to move over to another software.
I have another step that we can try in order to connect your bank account, Craigsat.
Let's make sure that you're able to log in to the bank's website. If it's successful, copy the bank URL and then go back to your QuickBooks account and try to connect the bank.
Here's how:
