How do I process a transfer from my chq a/c to my savings a/c

It’s great to see you in the Community, japie-dantuma.

We’ll have to use the Transfer feature to move the funds from your chequing account to savings accounts. The steps are simple and easy.

Here’s how:

1. Hit the + New button in the upper left panel to choose Transfer.
2. Go to the Transfer Funds From section to select the chequing account.
3. In the Transfer Funds To drop-down list, pick the savings account.
4. Make sure to input the amount being transferred in the Transfer Amount field.
5. Enter the correct date in the Date field box.
6. Click Save and close/Save and new.
   

Aside from this process, you can also use any of the methods to transfer between accounts.

• Cheque
• Imported Bank Transaction
• Journal Entry
