When reconciling, QB jumps between dates and I cannot select the transaction to reconcile. I have to log out and back in, or use the register to select the transaction.

Its so frustrating and has been happening for the past four months. I scroll down and up, make the screen larger and then smaller - log out and back in. Nothing helps. Then I use the bank account register to change the status to C ready for reconciliation. Does anyone else have this issue?

Beforehand, did you try filtering the date range? If not yet, let's modify it to narrow down the result. Filtering the date period helps us show your much-needed data to review and reconcile.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Transactions, then Reconcile.
  2. Choose the Account you want to reconcile and Resume reconciling / Start reconciling.
  3. Click the Filter icon.
  4. Select the Date range or enter a custom period on the From and To fields.
  5. Modify the Cleared status, Transaction type, and Payee sections if needed.
  6. Once done, click Apply.
