Why does the bank recon show the split instead of the consolidated amount

Thanks for dropping by here in the Community, @Jeanbot.

I'd like to ensure that this issue gets sorted out so you can get back on track.

You are correct, the amount that will show up on the bank reconciliation should be a consolidated amount. Since this isn't your case, I recommend accessing your account on a private window.

Web-based platforms like QBO collect cache files (cookies) to save you time when loading repetitive data and images. These files can often become outdated or corrupted, causing issues like the one you've encountered.

You can open a Private Window in all supported browsers using the corresponding keyboard shortcut below:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

If figures are now showings as combined, you can now go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This eliminates unnecessary files and refreshes your data.

To give you more tips on what are the browsers that works best with QuickBooks, please see this link: Find out what computer and browser you need for the best QuickBooks experience.

Please update me on how things turn out by leaving a reply below. I'll make sure you're all set. Take care!
