Not to worry, @accounts480. I'm here to make sure you're able to get the most updated banking transactions in your QuickBooks Online.

Did you mean the page isn't responding? Unresponsive pages are usually the result of outdated or corrupt cache files in your web browser. Browser caches help speed up basic browsing. It allows you to save more time when loading repetitive images or information. However, it can impact processes when your browser accumulates too much historical data.

We can clear them in just a few easy steps. Let's start by accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

If it's responsive, I recommend that you clear your browser's cache. By clearing them, you can remove that historical data and access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also switch to a different supported browser to see if it has something to do with your browser.

Otherwise, if it isn't downloading transactions, you can manually update your bank account. Here's how:

  1. Go to Banking from the left menu.
  2. Select the Update button in the upper right-hand corner.

  3. Wait until the update is done.

If you're getting the same result, you can sign in to your bank's website. You can check if there are any alerts or notifications that may block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions. Please refer to this link: What to do if bank transactions won’t download or there's a bank error.

In the meantime, you can upload the transactions manually to ensure the account is up-to-date. Download the data from your bank. Then, map the transactions in the following supported formats or file types:

  • Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Quicken (QFX)

Visit me here again in the Community and keep me posted on your progress with this banking issue. I'm determined to help you succeed.
