I have logged on call in Feb 2025 regarding the categorization of customers and since then, I have not received any feedback nor being able to group / categorize clients

I have logged on call in Feb 2025 regarding the categorization of customers and since then, I have not received any feedback nor being able to group / categorize clients

Your time is valuable, and we understand the importance of trying to get your customers organized in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Accounts605.

 

Please note that the option to group or categorize customers is unavailable in the global version of QBO. You can explore third party applications that can help you achieve your needs.

 

The easiest way is to access the Apps menu directly within your QuickBooks Online account. Here are the steps to find and evaluate potential app:

 

  1. Go to the Apps menu.
  2. Select Finds Apps.
  3. Search for an app on the field or click Browse Category to find a suitable app that works best for you.
  4. Once you have found an app, click it and click Get App Now.

 

We would love to hear your idea about having the option to categorize your customers so we recommend sending feedback to request this functionality directly to our product engineering team. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback and enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Click Next to submit.

 

Our Product Development team will receive your request and consider evaluating it to enhance your overall experience with the QBO. You can track all suggestions submitted through this website: QuickBooks Online Feature Requests.
