It won't allow me to add employee info

I am trying to add an employee. I enter basic info then try to edit to add full detail but as soon as I start it closes the window and opens the 'add new employee' window.

Thanks for posting in the Community, @-scentpacking-co. Let me share the information that you might miss out on in adding an employee to QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

As adding an employee won't work on your end, I suggest adding an employee using a private window. The private browsing window does not save any browsing history or form data, in contrast to the regular browser, which tends to retain information.

 

To save you time, you can use either of these shortcut keys:

 

  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift +N

 

If it works fine from there, switch back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If the issue persists, you can use other supported browsers to narrow down the cause.

It won't allow me to add employee info

Hi - thanks for the info, but I have tried all of those suggestions, and multiple browsers but still it does not work. Even stranger, if I try 'Run Report' on an employee name, the screen goes blank for a few seconds, then this comes up:

What the?

Is there a glitch in Quickbooks at the moment? Well, obviously yes, but what do I do now? I need to add employees and start the payroll.
