Good morning I want to add fuel and oil for my vehicle onto my expenses so I can see how much fuel is costing mein my bisinness.How do i go about it.Thanks .

Let's get these transactions recorded in QuickBooks Online, Brian Blomefield.

 

We can create a Cheque or Expense to record your fuel and oil expenses. Here's how we can easily do it:

  1. Click the + New button in the upper-left corner and select Expense or Cheque.
  2. Enter the details and go to the Category details section.
  3. Enter the expense account that tracks your fuel and oil in the CATEGORY column.
  4. Enter the amount and other necessary details.
  5. Click Save and close.

If you're unsure of what transaction or account to use, I'd recommend reaching out to your accountant. They know what the best way to record your fuel and oil expenses.
