Advisor Profile listing on QBO website

I obtained Advanced Pro Advisor certification off the USA website, only to discover that listing on US website is only for USA residents. I then spoke to Intuit South Africa and was assured that the SA website was open to all regional countries, but I would have to re-sit the exams as the certification is not transferable across the two countries.

So now I have just obtained SA certification but find to my horror, that once again, the application for listing does not recognize a Zimbabwe address. Only an SA address works. For the meantime, I have typed in an SA address uploaded my Zimbabwe ID. 

 

Does this mean I will not be able to get listed?

For now, Zimbabwe is not yet included in our country list for QuickBooks Online Accountant. I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team to check for other workarounds.

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Click the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. In the Help window, click the Contact Us button located at the bottom.
  3. Enter your question and click Let's talk.
  4. Choose either Start a chat or Start an email.

If you have the new QuickBooks Assistant help update, you can follow these steps:

  1. In your QuickBooks Online account, go to the Help > Assistant.
  2. Type Talk to a human and click the Contact a human button.
  3. Select Live Chat / Start an email.

If you don't see your profile on the Find-a-ProAdvisor website. Here are a few things to check so you can publish your profile and potential clients can find you.

 

First, review and update your public ProAdvisor profile. In particular, make sure your firm's physical address is up-to-date. Check the spelling and postal code.

 

Then, check your QuickBooks certification, you must have a current and valid QuickBooks Online certification to publish your ProAdvisor profile.

 

If you reviewed your profile and have a valid certification, you should be able to publish your profile on the Find-a-ProAdvisor website. However, if you still can't find it, check if you need to fulfill any additional requirements.

Zimbabwe does not have postal codes.

The system does not recognize Zimbabwe addresses.
