Hello there, @gtaylor2,
It looks like you want to convert your QuickBooks Online (QBO) ZA data to Desktop. However, this conversion process is only available with the US, UK, and CA regions.
I have the two alternative methods you can perform to complete your task. First, I'd suggest looking for a third-party app to help you with exporting your data. Once converted, I recommend running the Profit and Loss reports in the two QuickBooks products. Then, compare them to verify your exported info correctly and make sure your books match.
The second option is to manually enter all the transactions in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
When everything is good, that's the time to cancel your QBO subscription. This way, you won't be charged twice.
Then, you can proceed using QBDT for your essential tasks in your business. Thus, I recommend visiting this website: QBDT Resource Hub. It contains links to help you get started and efficiently manage your books in the program.
I'll lend a helping hand if you need further assistance. Keep safe always, @gtaylor2.
Utilize a 3rd party migration tool to do so. i.e TP Exporter for Online and TP Importer for Desktop.

If you don't have any specific concern, consider migrating to QB Desktop US version with a one time license. For QBD Pro 1 user license, you may purchase it thru a partner/reseller for < $250.
