Changing Reply Email Destination from Company Email Address when Sending Quotes.

How can I modify the settings in our system so that quotes sent for our workshop are delivered to the workshop's email address rather than the accounts department's email address which is currently set as the company email address? Currently, replies to the quotes go to the accounts department, but I need them to go directly to the workshop. Any guidance would be appreciated!

Changing Reply Email Destination from Company Email Address when Sending Quotes.

I appreciate you contacting the Community regarding modifying the email address when sending a Quote, GC101.

I've got the information you need to accomplish your goal today.

You can untick the Same as company email box and manually enter your workshop’s email address in the Customer-facing email section. This way, all responses will be sent directly to your workshop.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Settings icon and select Account and settings.
  2. From the Company tab, click the Pencil icon for Contact info.
  3. Untick the Same as company email box.
  4. Then, enter your workshop email address in the Customer-facing email field.
  5. Click on Save, then Done.

I have attached a screenshot for your reference. Currently, I'm only familiar with the email address listed under Account and settings > Contact info > Company email. Could you please confirm if there's an option to direct replies to different email addresses based on the department sending it, rather than to the Company email? Thank you!

Thank you for adding more details about your concern, GC101. We need to input the workshop's email address into the Customer-facing email field to ensure that responses are directed to that specific department.

You can personalize the sales templates and update the email address displayed, such as the user's email address when sending sales forms from QuickBooks. Keep in mind that you'll need to manually update the email address in the Customer-facing email field if you need to send different email information.

When you're ready, let's proceed to the Contact info section to update the email information. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon in the upper right and choose Account and settings under Your Company.
  2. On the Account and Settings screen, go to the Company menu on the left panel and click the Pencil icon for Contact info.
  3. Enter your in the Customer-facing email field.
  4. Click Save and Done to keep the changes.
