In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can use the Custom fields to add an extra field for your practice number in your invoices. Please note that this custom field will automatically appear above the Service column on your invoice.
Follow these steps to add field:
- Go to the Gear icon, then select Custom fields.

- Click Add field and enter the name of your field.
- Select Text and number for the Data type.
- Choose a category, then put a check mark beside the Invoice.
- Toggle on the Print on form, then click Save.


On the other hand, adding a field to your statements is unavailable in QBO.
