How to remove agency registation no on estimate?

Hi all,

How do you remove the details highlighted in yellow on my estimate? Can't find anywhere to remove this detail of the estimate.  Please see the attachment.

In my settings, it is not mentioned and shown but when I do preview I do get the highlighted text to see.

Thank you

How to remove agency registation no on estimate?

I want to ensure your concern about your estimates gets taken care of, @DDP2. However, I have to ask for some details about the issue.

May I know what specific part of estimate you’re referring to? This way, I can provide you with the best resolution. Also, reattaching the screenshot would be a great help too.

I'd appreciate any additional details you can provide. I’m looking forward to your reply. Have a great rest of the day.

How to remove agency registation no on estimate?

Hello there, @DDP2.

Thanks for getting back to us. I can share the steps on how to remove registration no. from your estimate.

It looks like you've turned on the registration no. in your Custom Form Styles. To remove this from showing your estimate when you print the preview, you'll have to turn off this by editing the estimate template.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Custom form styles under Your Company.
  3. Choose a template.
  4. Press Edit below the Action column.
  5. Go to the Content tab, then click the pencil icon in the upper-right of the form.
  6. Uncheck the box beside the Business (CIPC) Reg. No.
  7. Click Done.

I've added some articles about adding rows or columns in invoices, customizing sales forms, and other related topics:

Feel free to post again or leave a comment below if you have any other questions. I want to make sure everything is taken care of for you. I'll be here to help. Have a good one!

How to remove agency registation no on estimate?

Unfortunately, I followed all steps indicated, unchecked the box but the Reg No is still appearing. Please see the attachment that the box is un-checked. Is there a bug in my account or something else not making it work properly?

How to remove agency registation no on estimate?

Hi there, @DDP2. Thank you for getting back here in the thread. I can help you sort this out.

Your company's registration number is one of the default information in your sales forms, It'll appear on your sales form whenever you try to Print or Export them as PDFs. To remove the registration number, we'll have to go to the Display section of the Content in your Custom form style and then uncheck the box for the registration number.

I'll outline the steps below so you can proceed to remove the registration no. on your estimate. To begin, here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Custom form styles under Your Company.
  3. Choose a template.
  4. Press Edit below the Action column.
  5. Go to the Content tab, then scroll down to the Display section and then uncheck the box for VAT registration No.
  6. Click Done.

For visual reference, you can refer on the screenshot that I'll be adding below.

You'll then proceed to create your estimate. To use the template that you've created earlier, you can scroll down below in the estimate, click Customise and then select the template that you made.

Feel free to refer on the screenshot below.

In addition, I've also included this helpful article for the troubleshooting steps in case you'll bump into errors when sending sales forms:  Delivery Errors when trying to email a sales form.

How to remove agency registation no on estimate?

Hi!

This issue has not been resolved yet. I did everything step by step and still, it is still showing my VAT number.

Any options you could assist me in another way that this is solved permanently?

How to remove agency registation no on estimate?

I appreciate your update, @DDP2. Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so you can remove your VAT Registration No. on your estimates in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Then, guide you on the actions you need to take if the error persists so you can permanently solve this matter.

You should be able to remove your VAT Registration No. on your estimates after performing the steps recommended by my colleagues above. Based on your update, it seems that you have corrupted or damaged webpage data. This is sometimes caused by the browser's collection of data over time from frequent page visits.

To fix this, you'll want to pull up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

Once signed in, go ahead and create an estimate. Make sure to choose the customised template you have by clicking the Customise option (as shown in the screenshot above). Then, open its print preview by selecting the Print or Preview option.

If you're able to view or access the Overview tab, return to your default browser and clear its cache. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.

In case the display error continues after performing the troubleshooting steps above, I would encourage you to reach out to our Customer Care team. They can create a case to trigger an investigation and guide you with a fix. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO company.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Select the Search tab.
  4. Click the Contact Us button.
  5. Enter a brief description of your concern in the What can we help you with? field.
  6. Select Continue.
  7. Choose the Chat with us option.

Also, you may want to check out one of our Help pages in case you need a reference in managing your company's income and customer transactions using QBO: Sales and Customers help for QuickBooks Online. It includes topics about managing sales forms and creating customer statements, to name a few.

Please keep me posted on how it goes in the comments below. If you have other concerns about customizing estimates and managing them in QBO, I'm always here to help. Take care, and have a great day, @DDP2.
