I used the trial period on advanced plan now I would like to change the plan but it only gives me the option to resubscribe to the advance plan how do I downgrade?

can I change plans after using a free trial?how do I go about it?

I used the trial period on advanced plan now I would like to change the plan but it only gives me the option to resubscribe to the advance plan how do I downgrade?

Yes, Nadia, you can switch plans after your free trial ends. However, you'll need to resubscribe to the Advanced plan first to downgrade. Keep in mind that resubscribing will charge you the full price of the Advanced plan.

 

Once you've resubscribed, here's how to downgrade: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under the Profile column, select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Ensure that your payment information is up to date.
  4. In the QuickBooks section, choose Downgrade your plan.
  5. Review the available options and select Choose plan.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the downgrade process.

 

If you’d prefer not to pay the full price for the Advanced plan, you can skip resubscribing and directly sign up for a lower-tier plan. Visit our Plans & Pricing page to check out the options and pick a plan that works best for your business.

 

You also have the option to export your data from the Advanced plan and import it into your new subscription.
