Our account was deactivated in 2022, we do however urgently need reports for transactions, TB's for 2020 until account was deactivated. Please can you urgently assist? The account is for ITAG Tennis Academy
Hello ITAG. I can explain in detail what happens to your data after cancelation.
In QuickBooks Online, we retain your data for a period of one year. This allows you to resume your activities from where you left off if you choose to return. Throughout this duration, the file will be accessible only in a read-only format unless you opt to resubscribe or reactivate your account. After one year, the data will be permanently deleted.

Thank you for your reply, so this means I will NEVER be able to retrieve reports for 2020 to 2022? Surely there must be a way of getting this information? Legally we are to keep record of our report for up to 10 years?

Hi there, ITAG. I understand how important it is to access your QuickBooks Online data. I'll share some insights to clear up any confusion.
Once you cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription, you'll have read-only access to your data for one year from the cancellation date. This means you can still view your data, but you won't be able to make any changes and you'll need to resubscribe within that timeframe . After that, your data will no longer be available.
