I use QuickBooks, point of sale. I need to check if staff deleted inventory items. Is there a report that lists items that were deleted?

An item does not delete, though intuit calls it that, it is made inactive.  About all I can suggest is the audit trail/log

I can show you where you can find the audit trail, @haneylumber1. This way, you can review your QuickBooks activities. 

 

The audit trail report contains all activities initiated within your company file. It also includes transactions that were being deleted. To run this report, follow the steps below: 

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop company. 
  2. Click Reports at the top menu bar and choose Account & Taxes.
  3. Select Audit Trail.
  4. On the report screen, click Customize Report.
  5. Filter the appropriate fields that you want to show in the report.
