I'll help you figure out the reasons for the imbalance in your Trial Balance report and ensure you can fix them, kerissa.
Your business should maintain an accurate balance at the end of each financial year. The Trial Balance report provides a summary of the totals for all transactions recorded in each account in your Chart of Accounts. An unbalanced one indicates that some entries were entered incorrectly.
With that, I suggest taking the time to review each account's transactions separately to identify the underlying causes of the discrepancy in your Trial Balance report. To do so, you can expand the amounts listed in the report by clicking on them and examine the transaction details. One thing to consider is whether there are any missing entries that could contribute to the issue.
Once you identify the discrepancy, undo your reconciled entries and proceed to make the necessary corrections. Then, reconcile your account again to make sure the accuracy of your financial information.
After that, go ahead and rerun the Trial Balance report from the Reports menu to verify the update.
