Why do my reports do not have an email scheduling button?

Hi there, KeaganAxon. Let me get the help you need in scheduling the email of your report in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To turn on the email schedule of your reports in QBO, you'll need first to memorise the report. Here's how:

  1. Open the report you want to set a scheduled email.
  2. Click the Customise button.
  3. Set your customisation.
  4. Choose Run report, then Save customisation.
  5. In the Custom report name field, enter a descriptive name for the report.
  6. Enter the other necessary information.
  7. Click Save.

Once done, you can send the report via email on a recurring schedule. Let me show you how:

  1. In the left menu, click Reports.
  2. Select the Custom reports tab.
  3. Find the report you'd like to schedule for email.
  4. In the Action column, select Edit ✎.
  5. Select Set email schedule to turn it on.
  6. Set the email recurrence based on your needs.
  7. Enter the email information for sending the report.
  8. If you want to send the report as an Excel file, select the Attach the report as an Excel file checkbox. Otherwise, the report is sent in HTML format.
  9. Click Save.
