When you file the VAT return in QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can set the End date and Filing date. The Start date is the end date of your previous return.
If you're unable to change it, try signing into your QBO using a private browser (incognito). This will help us check if this is a browser-related (cache and cookies) issue. Here's how:
Once logged in, change the date range again to double-check. If it works, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.
On the other hand, if you already filed your return, the only way to edit it is by contacting our Customer Support Team. They can unfile it so you can make any necessary changes.
Need a VAT report for a detailed look? You'll want to pull up the VAT Summary Report, VAT Detail Report or VAT liability report.
Feel free to post again or leave a comment below if you have any additional questions. I'm always here to assist. Have a great day!
