Made a mistake on the VAT return how do I fix it

I'll share information that could help you unfile your VAT return successfully.

 

In QuickBooks Online, once you have filed your tax return, it will be marked as Mark as filed. To unfile this, you will have to reach out to our  QuickBooks support. Know that unfiling your tax return can be difficult, and there can be room for error. To help you ensure your books are accurate, they will take care of this process for you. Please provide the following information to them:

 

  1. Your QuickBooks Online Company ID.
  2. The tax filing period you wish to unfile.
  3. The reason you need to unfile your tax.

 

During the process, all users should remain signed out ( Go to the Gear icon, then Sign out). Once they are done with unfiling the tax return, our support team will contact you.
